Texas Tech Finds New Rival in Texas State

Texas Tech is famous for their weak non-conference schedules. Combine that with losing Texas A&M and Missouri from the schedule and they needed to find a new in-state rival.

Thankfully Texas State stepped up to help out for the rivalry need at least. Not sure they do much for the strength of schedule.

Don’t believe me, well check out this t-shirt that proves the new hatred.

The best school at social media is the University of Washington. Today, they released this awesome photo of the construction of Husky Stadium from 1920.

From the description on the photo, it says the original name was University of Washington Stadium and that the photo was taken November 13, 1920, just 14 days before the stadium opened.

Of course, modern construction doesn’t use horses. Then again, it costs a lot more money and can be completed faster.
