I try to go to a few bowl games every year. Two years ago it was four bowls in four days, the story I re-posted yesterday, and last year it was a trip to the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl as a volunteer and to the Pinstripe Bowl with a friend.

 

This year, I am taking a bit of a different approach since such travels will not be possible once our kid is born in March. I am going on an eight day bender, visiting what should be 12 sporting events and then entering semi-retirement.

 

The trip is a mix of college football, NFL, NHL, NBA and both men’s and women’s college basketball. Some events I have credentials, some I am stuck begging and scalping.
